Research and development

Research is innovation and only permanent development ensures the global competitiveness of every industry and teaching. For this reason, the DKG promotes the solution of fundamental tasks that affect the entire ceramic and related fields.

Research projects are generally developed in DKG committees, but also bilaterally between members and research institutes.
For the DKG, privately funded or sponsored industrial collaborative research is an essential part of its research activities. As far as publicly funded, all results on a research project are published in the association journal cfi/Berichte der DKG or via the web presence of the Forschungsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Keramischen Gesellschaft e.V.
 (FDKG).

Independently of this, however, the company also participates in projects dealing with relevant issues relating to ceramics and related basic research.
