Joint Committee DGG/DGM/DGO/DVS/VDI/DKG - Composites
In particular, composites made of different ceramic, but also non-ceramic components, have experienced significant applications in recent years. Discussing these and developing new applications is the aim of the joint committee.
The joint committee is supported by the Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft (DGG), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde (DGM), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Galvano- und Oberflächentechnik (DGO), the Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren (DVS), the VDI-Gesellschaft Werkstofftechnik (VDI) and the Deutsche Keramische Gesellschaft (DKG).
Every year the symposium "Verbundwerkstoffe und Werkstoffverbunde" is held by the joint committee. The aim of the symposium is to achieve scientific and technical advance by promoting education and training and developing innovative products. Economic and ecological problems should also be better solved with the help of the forum.
The program committee of the joint committee organizes working meetings twice a year with the thematic focus on PMC, MMC, CMC, metal-ceramic compounds, biomaterials, cellular materials and coating processes.
