The DKG stands for national and international cooperation in the field of research. It is a founding member of the European Ceramic Society, the European umbrella organization of all technical and scientific organizations for research and technology in the field of ceramics.

Very complex research tasks cannot always be covered by the competence of DKG. In order to act as a contact partner for our members in this area as well, the Society cooperates with other national and international technical-scientific societies and research communities.
