Further education

The DKG is the organizer and co-organizer of conferences, symposia, training events and trade fairs on current topics in ceramics.

The DKG organizes about 30 further education events per year. With the conferences of the affiliated institutions such as the technical committees and working groups, a total of more than 50 individual events are held each year. This makes the DKG the most important institution for ceramic training and further education events in Europe.
Continuous training and new scientific findings allow employees of companies and institutions alike to develop innovative solutions to current operational or scientific problems. DKG supports new developments through the above-mentioned further education and training events, which DKG members can attend at discounted rates.
DKG seminars and symposia are generally held on specific topics and provide a comprehensive overview of current theoretical and practical issues in ceramics by means of technical lectures, as well as plant and laboratory tours. The events are also intended to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between companies.
