INTERNATIONAL DKG AWARD

In addition to the traditional DKG honors, the International DKG-Award honors not only longstanding merits of the award winner but also publicly supports especially new ceramic ideas.

The presentation of the International DKG Award during the DKG Annual Meeting is also an expression of its special significance, as the DKG Annual Meeting is considered the most important ceramics conference in Germany.

Within the international community, the DKG would like to pay tribute to private and legal persons who have made a valuable contribution to ceramics in practice, teaching or research in a unique way. In addition to the traditional DKG honors, the DKG International Award is an award that not only honors the long-standing merits of the award winner, but also supports particularly new ceramic ideas in a publicly effective manner. The award ceremony of the International DKG Award as part of the DKG Annual Meeting is also an expression of its particular importance, as the DKG Annual Meeting is considered the most important conference on ceramics in Germany.
