The joint committee organizes technical colloquia and invites speakers from industry and science to report on the current status of their work in research and development. Topics of interest at the events include joining technology solutions for special applications, but also novel concepts for turbine and power plant construction in which metal-ceramic joints are used.
In addition to these technical colloquia, the joint committee organizes research initiatives whose results are tested in application-related projects. Companies are invited to accompany the projects by joining the respective associated working group. The research concepts are presented and discussed at meetings of the joint committee.
