Benefits of a personal membership

Far more than 650 personal members benefit professionally from their DKG-membership. Everybody can become a member!
  • Every private person from Germany or abroad that is interested in ceramics can become a DKG member.
  • There are special offers and benefits for students.

As a personal member inside the network of the DKG, it will be much easier for you to establish contacts with companies from the ceramic sector and the supplier industries. Besides these professional perspectives, members benefit from various price reductions. They get exclusive access to the associations’ internal contents and receive the association’s journal cfi/Berichte des DKG.

It’s easy to become a member! Just send a written application to the DKG headquarter or use the following online-form.

Examples for your benefits of a personal DKG-membership:

  • Improve your career perspectives: Use the DKG-network to open new career perspectives and benefit from our basic and advanced training programmes at favourable membership conditions.
  • The DKG trade journal cfi/Ber.der DKG: Our trade journal cfi/Ber.der DKG appears in 8-10 issues each year. The technical-scientific journal is co-published by the DKG and the Goeller publishing house. Thematic focus lies on application-oriented products and materials for the ceramic industry and its supply sector. The journal also informs our members about upcoming DKG-events.
  • Events and Fairs: Our members benefit from special conditions at all events and fairs that the DKG organizes or co-organizes, for example the DKG annual meeting, training seminars, symposiums and important fairs, such as the Ceramitec at Hannover fairgrounds.
  • Publications of the DKG: Members generally get favourable conditions for the publications of the DKG. These include for example the handbook „Technical Ceramic Materials“, but also the reports of the expert committees of the DKG.
  • Exclusive access to the DKG knowledge base: On the association’s website, exclusive contents, like abstracts or working materials from the DKG’s congresses, are being provided. These contents are in general only accessible to members.
